Designing a card people keep

Choose between 3 and 20 stamp spaces. Up to five fit on a row, so 10 stamps make two neat rows and 12 make three rows of four. The last space can be marked as the reward, so customers can see how close they are. Pick a shape that suits what you sell: a cup for coffee, a heart for a florist, a star for anything else.

Write the reward and any small print in your own words. It is your offer, so make it something you are happy to give, and keep the conditions short. Ten cards a page come out about the size of a business card and fit in a wallet; eight a page gives slightly taller cards with more room for the stamps.

Print on thin card, cut along the dashed lines, and use a rubber stamp, a hole punch or a signature to mark each visit. A stamp or punch shaped like your logo is harder to copy than a pen tick. Ink saver prints outlines only, for a cheaper run or for colouring in yourself.

Questions

How many stamps should a card have?

Enough that the reward feels earned but reachable. Many shops pick between 6 and 10; a café visited daily might use more.

Can I print the back of the card?

Not yet. Print the front, then run the sheet through again with your own design on the back, or stamp your logo on it.

Is my card design saved?

Yes, in this browser's local storage on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
